Our Services

Funeral services should be personal, unique, and reflect the life of the person who has died. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to respond to your request, when the need arises.

Our caring staff will be dispatched to the location of death and will skillfully and respectfully bring the loved one back to our facility. A licensed funeral director will call to arrange a time and place to meet with the family to discuss the family's needs and their loved one's wishes. Our funeral directors will also assist with the following:

  • Contacting clergy, or helping to choose someone to fit the family's needs
  • Assisting in deciding when and where the visitation, funeral, and burial will take place, or type of cremation service to best suit the family's needs
  • Gathering vital statistics needed or required for the death certificate
  • Gathering information needed for preparing an obituary
  • Helping with the selection of music
  • Providing guidance on personalizing services
  • Assisting with floral tributes and recording each floral piece sent to the service
  • Contacting the church, pallbearers, hairdresser, cemetery, grave openers, vault company, newspapers, social security, insurance companies and the monument company for final lettering.

Special Personalization Touches

  • Video Tributes — a family may provide photos, and we will craft them into a video presentation accompanied by music.
  • Memory Table and Picture Boards — the family can assemble cherished objects, personal possessions and photographs that help to tell the story of the life of the person who has died.
  • On Line Obituaries — Our web site offers families the ability to post service information on the World Wide Web, making it available to those who live far from us. This service allows distant friends and relatives to participate in the mourning process, to write on-line condolences, and to say their own farewell to the person who has died.
  • Custom Memorial Programs or Folders — custom designed memorial folders are created for the service of the loved one. Included can be color photographs, obituary information, service information, and any special thought, poem or prayer.
  • Military Honors — service to honor our nations veterans, conducted by our local Post of the American Legion or Veteran of Foreign Wars and the veterans who compose them and/or by the Missouri Military Honors Program.
  • Casket Personalization — The casket can be personalized with panel inserts, LifeSymbols® corners, MemorySafe® drawer, and a memorial record tube.

Services Provided:

Traditional Funeral Service

  • Many families still prefer “traditional” funeral services. We can provide a traditional service in our chapel, in a church, or other facility of the family's choice.
  • Most traditional services include a time of visitation with the family on the evening prior to the funeral service or on the day of the service.

Traditional Cremation Service

  • Following the visitation or service, either at the funeral home chapel or in a church, the deceased is cremated. The cremated remains may then be retained, scattered in a special place, or interred in a cemetery.

Contemporary Service

  • Some families have their own creative ideas for remembering and memorializing their loved one. We will always help families personalize a service to suit their needs in remembering and honoring their loved one.

Graveside Service

  • If simplicity is the goal, we can provide a service at the graveside. Many families want to also have a time of visitation at the funeral home when choosing a graveside service.

Direct Burial or Direct Cremation

  • Some families elect not to have any formal service and opt for direct burial or direct cremation. In these cases, the body is buried or cremated as soon as the necessary paperwork is completed.
  • A memorial service may be held at a later date should the family desire.

Out of Town Arrangements

  • We can assist in the arrangement of transportation of the loved one to, or from, an out-of-town funeral home for services, burial and/or inurnment.
