Louella Wiederholt Hall

Louella Wiederholt Hall, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Lou was born on February 13, 1936 to Charles and Lucy Wiederholt in Clyde, MO. Lou grew up in a home filled with love. She loved playing basketball at Jefferson High School and graduated in 1954 with her twin brother, Lucian. In 1959 she married Clifford Collins. They enjoyed life in Overland Park, Kansas until his death in 1971. Lou then moved back to Northwest Missouri to take care of her elderly mother.

In 1974, she started working at Black and Veatch where she worked her way up to executive secretary. Black and Veatch is also where Lou met Dave Hall. They married in 1975 and experienced an active life together golfing and fishing. During retirement, they lived in the Southwest, then eventually moved back to the Kansas City area to be close to family.

Lou will be remembered for her kind heart and loving nature. She kept her sweet smile to the very end of her journey. Lou is preceded in death by her husband Dave Hall; her parents Charles and Lucy Wiederholt; her sisters Deane Shanks (Madison), Sister Mary Dorothy Wiederholt, Rita Arnett (Roy), Mary Alice Giudicessi (Jim), Eileen Seipel (Raymond) and Ace Seipel; her brothers Charles and Leonard.

She is survived by her sister Norma Shively (Bob) and sister-in-law Amelia Wiederholt; brothers Delbert Wiederholt (Stella), Lucian Wiederholt (Mary Rose) and brother-in-law Earl Seipel. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at St. Columba Catholic Church begining at 10:00am Saturday, January 27th followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Burial St. Columba Cemetery, Conception, Missouri.
