Leroy A. "Roy" Seipel
Leroy A. "Roy" Seipel, 94 of Maryville, MO died Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Village Care Center.

Roy was born November 29, 1922, to Henry and Agatha Henggeler Seipel. He was a graduate of Maryville High School.

On January 3, 1950, Roy and Patricia Ann Merrigan were united in marriage in Conception, MO.

He was a member of St Gregory's Barbarigo Catholic Church, Tri-C American Legion Post #464, Conception Jct., MO, Knights of Columbus Council #1339, Board of Directors of National Catholic Rural Life Conference and Permanent Deacon with Kansas City/St. Joseph Diocese.

Roy was preceded in death by his wife Pat, siblings Charles, Norbert , Sister M. Catherine Seipel OSF, and Thelma Tritt and granddaughter Anna Christine Seipel.

Surviving are his sons, Kenneth (Bertie), Wasilla, AK, Tom (Sue), and Edward (Tara), both Maryville, Stephen (Linda), Altamont, New York and Michael (Cherie) Seipel, Callao, Mo,, daughters, Kathy (Olav) Lipiec, Maryville and Sister Patricia Seipel OSB, Kansas City, MO, brother, Hubert (Maryle) Seipel and sister, Coletta Merrigan, Maryville ; 19 grandchildren; 7 great -grandchildren.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, September 8th , followed by visitation from 6:30-8:30 PM, all at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 9th at St. Gregory's. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Graveside military services will be by Missouri Military Honors and Tri-C American Legion Post #464.
